The I\’m Studio EP landed on Plastik Park in July 2011 (PP12038) with vocalist Kstar adding live presence to the title track — an unusual move for FM Radio Gods, and one that pays off. \’I\’m Studio\’ has a harder, more industrial progressive edge with Kstar\’s vocals cutting through the mix cleanly. Riktam & Bansi provide two contrasting remixes: the SlowBass Mix does exactly what it says, while the Tec Mix drives harder and leans into the track\’s more mechanical qualities. For a release built around a vocal hook, the EP manages to stay club-functional throughout without softening the Montreal duo\’s characteristic techno edge.
