The I Am EP hit Baroque Records in August 2009 (barsp024), a two-tracker featuring the Original Mix of \’I Am\’ alongside a remix from German techno producer Lützenkirchen. The original is FM Radio Gods in progressive-techno mode — deliberate, groove-driven, and built with patience. Lützenkirchen\’s remix picks up the tempo and adds his signature distorted, mechanical edge, turning in something significantly harder than the source material. Baroque was a reliable home for this kind of release in 2009, and \’I Am\’ fits the label\’s catalogue neatly — quality control high, aesthetic consistent, the kind of EP that travels well in a DJ bag.
