Electrophyde EP [Attitude Rec]

Release Date : October 10, 2008
Artists : Fake, FM Radio Gods, Johnson, Tapwater
Format : Digital Download

Four versions of \’Electrophyde\’ hit Attitude Recordings in May 2008 (ATT03), FM Radio Gods establishing themselves as serious techno operators early in their Attitude run. The Original Mix is the key cut — hard, electro-influenced, and built around a driving rhythm that doesn\’t let up. Johnson, Tapwatr, and a Fake Mix round out the package, each approaching the source material differently: Johnson going harder, Tapwatr adding texture, the Fake Mix offering something looser and more experimental. For a 2008 techno release, Electrophyde holds up — the production is precise without being sterile, and the four-version format gives DJs plenty to work with.
